I absolutely loved my stay! The corridor and staircase wallpapers created such a unique vibe. My room was not only cozy but also had everything I needed for a comfortable short stay.

misleading decor

However, I faced some issues. The photographs of the rooms didn't match reality. they portrayed a more inviting atmosphere than what was there, which was drab and in need of updates. The A/C struggled to cool the room, making it uncomfortable, and I had to crack open the windows to get any relief from the heat. Plus, it's not really a hotel. it felt more like an old apartment building without any staff or security presence, raising some concerns.

Had a great time at Bairro Alto Suites! Loved the clean room with comfy bed and the amazing shower. Location was spot on—it’s only a short walk to Rossio square. Just a bit of noise from the bar nearby, but overall a solid stay!

Location was spot on for exploring—just a hop down to the main street, don’tcha know? Staff were super nice, and the bathroom had that good hot water pressure. The bed was cozy clean, but I coulda used a lil’ fridge for leftovers. Quiet street, so that was nice. Nothing fancy, but we had what we needed!
